Request a re-scan

Fixed your docs, or believe we hit a bad snapshot (an outage, a bot challenge, a redirect we mishandled)? Email us from a company address with the domain in question. We'll re-run the same published rubric against your live site and publish the updated score and evidence. Re-scans use the current rubric version — the version is shown on every score (this Index runs rubric v0), so a change from re-scoring is never silently mixed with a change from methodology updates.

Correct a factual error

If a specific finding is wrong — a probe misread a page, a check flagged something that exists, we scanned the wrong host — tell us which finding and why. We'll re-check it against the stored snapshot and the live site. If we were wrong, we correct the published report and say that we corrected it; scores move when the evidence moves.

Reply to a published report

Scored companies can send a response before or after publication. We read them, we re-verify anything they contest, and where a response identifies a real gap in our read of your platform, the published report is updated. We don't publish takedowns of companies for asking questions — the process is the same whether your score is green or red.

Snapshot & data removal

Scan snapshots are copies of your public pages, retained so scores stay reproducible and disputable. If a snapshot captured something that shouldn't be public (a leaked page, exposed data), email us — we treat that as urgent and remove it. Routine removal requests are handled per the privacy policy.

What we don't do

• Scores are never for sale — there is no way to pay for a better number, and no paid placement on the Index.
• We don't quietly rewrite history: corrections are made openly, and rubric versions keep old and new scores comparable on their own terms.
• We don't punish disputes. Contesting a score never affects your score.
